Regulatory Maintenance Plans

Krystel Kleer Home Sewage Treatment Systems are designed to provide many years of trouble-free operation with minimum maintenance. However, to ensure that your system performs to the high standards set by the regulating bodies, a maintenance program is stipulated by these bodies in the interest of environmental health and safety.

Council regulations make this mandatory, and failure to have the stipulated service carried out could result in a breach of public health legislation and subsequent legal proceedings.

What Your Maintenance Plans Include

The service includes an operational check of the system, cleaning of the filtration media and inspecting the leach drains (if installed). Our technician will also advise you on any maintenance required between services. We recommend this be carried out every three months to ensure optimal performance of your wastewater System.

Maintenance Requirements

(Excluding the septic tank/compartment, mechanical and electrical components)

Every three months, inspections will occur during which the following are undertaken:

Adjustments to air intake where necessary

Adjustments to sludge return where necessary

Cleaning of the home sewage treatment plant, if necessary

Monitoring and maintaining the balance of the purifiers

Checking sludge levels

Replenishing Chlorine holders

Tests on water quality (on-site)

Reports forwarded to the local council as directed

Blower, Irrigation Pump and Electrical Components

We offer a complete wastewater treatment package, which includes servicing and maintenance, checking of the blower, irrigation pump and electrical system. Our reliable technicians will ensure that your sewage system is working in optimal conditions. Apart from this, we also offer after-sales support to our customers.
